Anybody who thinks he'll score less than ten points his rookie year is probably on crack.

I bet he'll at least put up 60 points. All depends who he is playing with really. Put him with Hejduk or Wolski, More then 60 Points Put him with Stewart or Svatos, 40-50 Points Put him with Tucker.. well 2-7 Points

If you put him with Tucker, you kill his career before it's even started

Well it takes what like nine or ten games for a call up season to be considered a rookie season? I think he can score ten poins in that amount of time.

I don't think it is impossible for Duchene to play a third of the season scoring only point every third game. Stamkos had something similar. I personally voted that Duchene will score 60-70 points. I'm just saying, that Duchene could finish with less than ten points and that doesn't take a miracle. I think less than ten is more likely than 85+

If he would have played in juniors the 2008-2009 season, would he have been much better in 2009-2010 season?

Yes Stamkos was crap at the start of the season Is that a bad thing? I mean, if he wins Hart Trophy in 2009-2010, how much you think bad start for 08-09 season matters? Who can guarantee, that if he would have been in juniors for 08-09 season, that he wouldn't have exactly same kind of start for 09-10 season than he had for 08-09 season? I rather take a player that was bad as 18 year old and good as 19 year old, than a player than is unknown as 19 years old. Stamkos begins 09-10 season as someone who just had 20+ goal season in NHL.

Tampa put too much pressure on him to be some sort of savior and it killed the beginning of his season.
